Chrome "Incognito Window" on Windows

Use an Incognito window when you do not want Chrome to save local browsing history, cookies, site data, or form entries after the window is closed.

HINT: Keyboard shortcut - Ctrl + Shift + N

  1. Select "More" (three vertical dots) in the upper-right corner, and then select "New Incognito window."

Important to know

  • Incognito browsing limits what Chrome stores on the device after you close the window.

  • Downloaded files and saved favorites remain on the device.

  • Incognito browsing does not make your activity invisible to websites, your internet provider, or your organization.
